An Interior Designer & columnist, Nisha has treaded several paths in her short life - interior architect, Couturier, art consultant and philanthropist. She has lived, studied and worked in countries all over the world and is actively involved in the world of design in India.

An interior architect who has diversified into Fashion, she says that every experiment in her life as been “a step in my journey of growth and self-discovery, a kaleidoscopic part of life that enriches the fabric of my existence.” The NISHA JAMVWAL label has generated immense column space in every daily or revered design bible, created new trends and formed a following in a short span. The brand has also, ever since its inception has lent a philanthropic fervor to design.

Nisha says her mind is always ticking and trying to see how any space can be improved. Looking at blank canvases is almost impossible. Her creative juices are perennially flowing and feeding her varied interests. Her love for art has truly taken her down every artistic mould there possibly is, as she detests being confined to one love.

Her career has been her number one priority ever since she can remember. The philanthropist in her brought many issues to our notice using her artistic and glamourous side. Bringing around change is not easy after all, but Nisha has breezed through like marketing pro. With this thought Nisha agreed to help and partner Khushii, an NGO in Bombay. She is a Patron with NGO Khushi for which she has orchestrated events where celebrities like VIjay Mallaya, Parmeshwar Godrej and Milind Deora.

Her Couture and prêt label,has been a huge success in India and the world over in a surprisingly short span of time. Her loyalists include known faces on television, cinema and the social circuit. Creativity is definitely her forte. With collections aptly titled, 'Sex With My Ex'; 'Page Three Woman of Substance'; 'Pure Jeanius'; 'Loving in the Sunshine'; 'Kissing Underwater' have all done good business, so the flamboyance and drama is not without the business acumen. She studied Art Criticism and Art History along with work experience in America, Paris, and Japan on select Design projects - including Beach houses; hospitality and restaurant design; residential design.

As an author and writer Nisha was Fashion Editor for Salaam Mumbai & part of its reinvention since March 2004; She is currently engaged in writing Book on Lifestyle & Interior Design. She has also hosted various television talks and done interviews with leading channels.

With so many feathers to her cap, one wonders how she still manages to wear it with such aplomb. A designer in the true sense, Nisha has paved the way for glamour and social responsibility to co-exist. We hope to see much more of her in the years to come.
